Legendary guitarist Steve Newman has spent decades crafting a distinctive musical voice that transcends genres and borders. Best known as a founding member of the internationally acclaimed group Tananas, Steve's career has taken him across Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. His remarkable guitar playing blends African rhythms, jazz, folk and world music traditions into a sound that is both deeply personal and universally accessible.

Joining Steve is acclaimed tabla player and percussionist Nish Pillay, whose musical journey spans South Africa, India, East Africa and beyond. Trained in both South Africa and India, Nish brings the rich traditions of Indian classical percussion into conversation with contemporary world music, jazz and African musical forms. His collaborations with leading South African artists have established him as one of the country's most versatile percussionists.

Together, Steve and Nish create a musical dialogue that is intimate, soulful and utterly captivating. Their performances move effortlessly between intricate rhythmic interplay, lyrical melodies and moments of spontaneous improvisation, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience two master musicians in close conversation.
