ABOUT
petals and thorns (revised edition)
on listening to what remains
Leading from the wisdom that beauty and pain grow from the same soil
ABOUT
Join poet, writer, coach, and reflective practitioner vuyisile rodolo for the launch of the revised edition of petals and thorns — a gathering of poetry, reflection, conversation, and presence.
This is more than a book launch.
It is an invitation to pause, listen, and remember that beauty and pain are not opposites, but neighbours. That the rose does not apologise for its thorns, and the thorn does not grieve that it is not the rose.
Through selected readings, author conversation, and shared reflection, the launch explores what remains after life’s difficult seasons — the lessons, tenderness, courage, and wisdom that continue to shape who we are becoming.
Drawing from petals and thorns, with an early glimpse into let’s dance, the event creates space for reflection on resilience, self-leadership, belonging, healing, and the ongoing practice of becoming.
Because what remains still has something to teach us.
