Godfrey is an award-winning performing artist, whose work as a pianist, singer, actor, composer, arranger and director have established his ongoing career, and seen him performing and directing shows around the world, including Edinburgh, Amsterdam, London & Montreal.

His work with Pieter-Dirk Uys is notable for Johnson’s skills as a composer, arranger and performer, with a legacy of numerous cabarets and a musical.

Johnson has guest lectured at the University of Cape Town, and is frequently invited to teach and adjudicate young performers country-wide.
