Thirty years after Slap in the Face found its way into student digs, road trips, first loves, heartbreaks and late-night singalongs across South Africa, Karma returns to the stage to celebrate one of the country's most beloved alternative rock records.

And we are deeply honoured that the national tour launches right here at The Daisy Jones Bar.

Best known as the unmistakable voice behind Henry Ate, Karma helped soundtrack a generation with songs like Just, Hey Mister, Henry and Waves of Salt — songs that still resonate as strongly today as they did in the 90s.

For this special tour-opening performance, Karma and Julian Sun arrives with a full band for a once-off Daisy Jones show, bringing new life to the songs that shaped an era while revisiting the stories, memories and moments behind the album that started it all.
