Whether you are an aspiring writer, an avid journal keeper, or simply someone looking for a creative outlet, this workshop offers a welcoming space to explore storytelling, self-expression, and the art of writing from the heart.

Through guided exercises, writing prompts, and reflective activities, participants will learn how to unlock creativity, overcome writer’s block, and transform thoughts and experiences into meaningful written work. No previous writing experience is required—just a willingness to explore and create.

About Anna: Anna Stroud lives and writes in Melville, Johannesburg. Her debut novel, Who Looks Inside (Karavan Press: 2024), received the NIHSS best emerging fiction author award and was shortlisted for the UJ Debut Prize and longlisted for the Sunday Times Literary Awards. Her short story, “The Power Station”, was published in the 2025 Short.Sharp.Stories. collection.
