Cape Town Botswana Independence Celebrations

This year marks a very special milestone: 60 years of Botswana’s independence.

We’re bringing Batswana, friends of Botswana, families and our wider community together in Cape Town for an afternoon of food, music, culture, connection and celebration.

Come dressed with a touch of blue, black and white and join us as we celebrate Botswana — our people, our culture, our stories and the journey of the past 60 years.

Expect good food, great music, plenty of laughter, activities for the children and, most importantly, the chance to gather as a community and celebrate home.
