Sing and Be Merry

If your love of delicious food is equalled by your appetite for the finest choral music, and if you crave rich harmonies as much as any festive banquet, this concert is for you! The first half of our programme will feature our favourite songs about food to get your mouth watering, from Renaissance drinking songs to jazz standards. After an interval during which a hearty supper will be served, we will treat you with the sweetest melodies all about nature: animals, birds, sunshine and rain will all be celebrated as we perform a mix of wistful and whimsical works by the likes of Edward Elgar and John Rutter.
