Founded in 2010 by Lady Magnolia, The Rouge Revue is Cape Town's longest-standing burlesque school and performance company. More than just a dance studio, it is a vibrant community where women of all ages, backgrounds, body types, and experience levels are encouraged to embrace their individuality, celebrate their sensuality, and discover the joy of taking up space. Through classes, workshops, and theatrical productions, The Rouge Revue nurtures confidence, creativity, connection, and self-expression, while showcasing the transformative and empowering art of burlesque. Since 2015, the company has also raised over R288 000 for Rape Crisis through its annual charity event, The Grand Exhibition, combining entertainment with a commitment to meaningful social impact.

THINGS TO KNOW:

* Please arrive on time - no entry is allowed after the show starts. Latecomers will be admitted at interval only.

* No outside food or drinks are allowed. Refreshments are available for purchase inside.

* You're welcome to take food and drinks into the theatre, but please return your glasses to the bar afterward.

* No flash photography or videography is permitted during the performance.

* Free secure parking is available just 50 meters past the theatre (next to the Woodshop). The lot closes 30 minutes after the show ends. Please avoid parking in residential roads to keep access clear for local residents.
