Winter Workshop: Natural Paints & Pigments

What colours can we find in a winter garden?

In this creative nature workshop, children will head out on a mini scavenger hunt to discover the hidden colours, textures, and patterns found in leaves, flowers, bark, soil, stones, and other natural treasures around the farm.

Using these discoveries as inspiration, we'll experiment with making our own natural paints and pigments from materials found in nature.

Creative Activity: Children will create and use their handmade paints in a sensory, open-ended art session that celebrates creativity and exploration.

This workshop invites children to slow down, notice the beauty around them, and experience the garden through colour, texture, and imagination.

Suitable for children. All materials provided.

Please dress for winter weather. Rain jackets, gumboots, and a change of clothes are recommended.
