Finally, something that will tear you away from your phone and make you lose a good couple of hours. This workshop is about letting go and not being in control for a while, allowing you to spend some time with your imagination and to express yourself creatively through the medium of lino carving and printing. 

Ernst will guide you through the entire process, from carving your design into the lino block to transferring it onto paper. Participants will get to keep the lino blocks they have carved as well as the printed artwork they have produced. 

No experience necessary! This workshop is open to all levels, whether you’re a complete beginner or have some printmaking experience.

All materials and tools are provided by Prime Art and Artsauce. If you have your own set of lino cutting tools you are welcome to bring it along. 

This workshop involves the use of sharp carving tools so please be mindful and handle them with care.
