Crous & Carstens Springbok Nude Girls Unplugged live at Triggerfish Brewing

Straight after the Sprinkboks take on Scotland, Crous & Carstens ROCK THE TRIGGERFISH STAGE: Springbok Nude Girls Unplugged brings together two of South Africa’s most iconic rock figures for an intimate afternoon of music, stories and raw honesty.

Arno Carstens and Theo Crous have been making music side by side since the early 1990s when they first met in Bellville. What started as a jam session would become one of the most significant partnerships in South African rock history.

They co-founded Springbok Nude Girls in 1994 and went on to create a catalogue of songs that defined a generation. Hits like Illuminate, Blue Eyes and Bubblegum on my Boots ,captured the sound of a country finding its voice in the post-apartheid era.

This unplugged show strips everything back. Expect acoustic renditions of their biggest songs, some storytelling and behind-the-scenes tales that have never been told before.
