The Dirty Skirts + Metro Villa at Springbok Arms

Cape Town Indie-Rock stalwarts, The Dirty Skirts are taking over the stage at Springbok Arms on Friday, 24 July for an unforgettable night of nostalgia.

Known for their high-octane energy and anthemic tracks, the band is set to deliver a powerhouse performance. Joining them for the night as special guests are the incredible Metro Villa, making this a premier double-bill line-up for the winter.

The Dirty Skirts are an indie rock band hailing from Cape Town and recorded and toured between 2004 and 2012. The have released a new EP “Radiant Clouds” in 2023 and are playing live once again.

Their career highlights include being nominated for Best Rock Album SAMA for their album ‘Daddy Don’t Disco’ (2008), and winning Best Alternative Album SAMA (2011) for their album ‘Lost in the Fall’. The Dirty Skirts signed to labels Sony, Sheer and, more recently, Just Music in 2023. The band has opened for multiple international artists including Oasis, Snow Patrol, Evanescence, Three Doors Down, Billy Talent and Stained.
