The Plett Boardriders Association is excited to present the Winter Surf Fest 2026, a fun, community-focused surf and bodyboard festival designed to keep the winter stoke alive in Plettenberg Bay! ??

Following the recent storm damage that affected local beaches and surf conditions, we’ve reimagined this year’s event into a smaller, local-focused festival that celebrates the people who make our surf community special. ??

Over four action-packed days, competitors of all ages will have the chance to enjoy clinics, expression sessions, social events, and unique surf and bodyboard competitions, with awesome prizes up for grabs throughout the festival. ??

For competitors under 18 years old.

?? Competition Format: Skins Competition

Unlike a traditional contest, each heat is winner-takes-all. Only the highest-scoring wave in the heat counts, with competitors battling for individual skins and prizes. This exciting format encourages surfers and bodyboarders to go all-in, because every wave could be the winning one! ??
