Meena Thakordas is a breast cancer survivor only processing what she went through over a year after going into remission. Her story — from first realising she had a lump in her breast all the way to remission — is reimagined as a fairytale in which cancer becomes a monster she must face. Meena is visualised as a cursed princess who must defeat this monster to win back her life and family. This is a true story about fighting for your family — your husband, your daughter, your brother — even when you are unable to fight for yourself.
