We honour the words of Nelson Mandela who said, "... we know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians..." Our tribute to Madiba brings a world premiére to Cape Town of contemporary poetry and music from Palestine

Mahmoud Abuwarda is a gifted performer and composer in exile in Istanbul. His exquisite music blends Classical and Arabic traditions. Be part of a fundraiser that will restore the composer's studio and instruments.

Cape Town artists include Cameron Bester (flute), David Cyster (clarinet), Liesl Jobson (bassoon), Tessa Campbell (violin), Matthias Remley-Ender ('cello), Alexandros Vavatzanidis (guitar), Anekin Pockpass (guitar), Timothy Hyslop (piano), Tamara Dubeni (actor) and Stembiso Sibanda (actor). Palestinian poetry selection curated by Tania Haberland. Directed by Megan Choritz.
