Uppercut is proud and excited to host a night with The Whooligan (of SOULECTION, NY) and Skinny Macho (BOILER ROOM, UK) at FICTION (Long Street, Cape Town) on Saturday 9th December 2017!

Soulection has one of the world’s largest weekly radio audiences, reaching millions in over 100 countries around the globe via its show on Apple Music’s Beats1 radio (the world’s biggest radio station) and on Soundcloud. Soulection has taken the world by storm and is becoming a household name. The Whooligan (Soulection, NY)

The Whooligan is Soulection’s Director of Worldwide Bookings and Partnerships. He has been DJing to large audiences for over 15 years. A global citizen – with previous residencies in San Francisco and Los Angeles, he now lives in Brooklyn, New York. As a seasoned artist, lover of music and event curator, he brings a unique perspective to the label through his passion, open-mindedness and inherent positivity. He is a multifaceted and genre-bending DJ, and consistently shares the stage with the likes of De La Soul, Little Dragon, The Internet, Vince Staples, Mac Miller, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Craze, J. Rocc, Pete Rock as well as every member on the Soulection roster.

Skinny Macho (Boiler Room, UK)

Skinny Macho is Boiler Room's lead programmer, an accomplished DJ and regularly features as MC and DJ on their broadcasts to millions of viewers.
