About your facilitator
Renée (@reneehaakman) has always been passionate about jewellery, especially the stories pieces hold and tell.
Believing it was a shame that beautiful materials, often full of quality, character, and memories, were no longer being used, she began collecting beads from family, friends, and second-hand stores to give them a second life.
Through her workshops, Renée invites people to create new stories with materials that already carry meaning. She guides participants through the creative process from inspiration to finished piece, with a focus on creativity, connection, fun, and making jewellery-making accessible to everyone.
