STANDING FIRM | Apologetics Conference | Stellenbosch 2026

Hosted annually by Ratio Christi, the Standing Firm Apologetics Conference is designed to help Christians grow in their understanding of the faith and learn to defend it with courage and conviction.

We are excited to welcome Dr Mike Willenborg as our keynote speaker at our Standing Firm Conference in Stellenbosch.

Mike holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Hawaii, an M.A. in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary, and a PhD in Philosophy from Baylor University, USA. A former Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at Baylor and currently teaching at Pikes Peak State College in Colorado Springs, Mike is a passionate and engaging voice in Christian apologetics and philosophy.

Dr Mike will be speaking on the following topics:

• Finding the Hidden God: Why isn’t the truth of Christianity more obvious?
• The Problems of Evil
• Jesus the Promised Messiah: An Argument From Fulfilled Prophecy

Other experts will also be discussing topics like:

• How does a Christian Stand Firm in Sceptical Times - Dr Simon Jooste
• A South African Consideration of Critical Race Theory - Mathabo Baase
• Christianity in the Political and Public Life - Bálint B. Horváth
