Where: Moon and Sixpence Wedding Venue, Muldersdrift, Johannesburg

Time: 08h00-12h00

Cost: Entrance R125 and ONE CAKE per person (Quicket charges extra R7.50 ticket fee)

Capacity: 300 guests only

RULE: ONE CAKE ONE ENTRY

Dimensions of Cake:

It must feed 12 guests

It must be at least 16cm wide and 8cm high or bigger

You can BAKE your own Cake or BUY your own Cake or 12 cupcakes

Kids over 10 years of age must bring a cake each to participate

Kids under 10 may attend, but may not help themselves to the cake tables

Anyone without a Cake, may not help themselves to the cake tables

WHAT TO BRING: ONE CAKE ONE ENTRY

Your Cake, Cake knife, Cake Label, and Allergen Info (see below)

Also bring your own picnic blanket, or chair, sun hat, sun screen

Signed Indemnity Form (see on ticket checkout)

Alcohol and non-alc drinks will be on sale

Tea & Coffee will be on sale

Savoury snacks will be on sale

TIME LINE:

Sunday 26 July 2026

08h00-09h00: Arrive and setup your cake on the tables provided

Find your own picnic spot and spread your blanket

09h15-09h30: Walk-through and take final photos

09h30: Cut your own cake (bring your own Cake Knife)

10h00: First Round: 5 minutes allowed to sample as many different cake slices (we provide the cake box)

10h30: Second Round: 5 minutes allowed to sample as many different cake slices

Enjoy your cake picnic

11h00: If any cake is left, we will announce that you are welcome to help yourself to more cake and to take it home.

12h00: End of Cake Picnic

All tickets must be purchased in advance via Quicket. No cash payments on the day.

Full payment is required to confirm entrance. No refunds will be issued, except if Moon and Sixpence cancels the event.

If the event is postponed due to weather, all tickets will be valid for a new date - no refunds will be issued for weather-related postponements.

Time to set up is strictly between 08-09h00. The Cake Picnic starts at 09h15 and no late arrivals will be eligible for a refund.

By attending, you consent to photos and videos being taken for the marketing use of Moon and Sixpence.

Moon and Sixpence will not be liable for lost, stolen or damaged personal items. Guests attend at their own risk and children must be supervised as there are open water features.

Moon and Sixpence reserves the right to refuse entry to guests who are disruptive or intoxicated. Kindly comply with venue rules.
