Ten key members of the renowned Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble are excitedly preparing for a concert tour to the UK this coming August. Just one week before they fly, they are giving Joburg /Mzansi Collective audiences in the intimate surroundings of the St Stithians Chapel, the chance to meet these exceptional young musicians and hear their eclectic choice of repertoire, ranging from Rameau, Purcell, Brahms and Sibelius to their unique take on township Kwela, Afro-pop and Afro-jazz.
