NMBPride festival 2026

NMB Pride Festival is an annual celebration of love, diversity, equality, and visibility. NMBPride is a registered LGBTQIA+ non-profit organisation based in Gqeberha. The festival brings together members of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, families, businesses, artists, and organisations for a powerful day of unity, pride, education, and entertainment.

The festival features a vibrant Pride March, live music performances, guest artists, drag entertainment, community speakers, food and craft vendors, exhibitions, awareness campaigns, and safe spaces that celebrate authenticity and inclusion. NMB Pride aims to create visibility for LGBTQIA+ people while promoting human rights, mental health awareness, equality, and community empowerment throughout Nelson Mandela Bay and beyond.

More than just a celebration, the NMB Pride Festival serves as a platform to honour the history of Pride, reflect on the ongoing struggles faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, and inspire hope for a more inclusive future. The event welcomes people from all walks of life to stand together under the rainbow in support of love, acceptance, freedom, and diversity.

By purchasing a ticket to the NMB Pride Festival, attendees acknowledge and agree that NMBPride, its partners, sponsors, media teams, and event stakeholders may capture photographs and video footage during the event. These images and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, social media, website, and future event purposes without compensation to attendees. Guests who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos are encouraged to notify event organisers in advance or on the day of the event.
