Following two consecutive sold-out events in Johannesburg, Conscious Connections brings its signature social experience to the stunning country lawns and decks of The Acreage in Randjesfontein (perfectly situated for Pretoria, Centurion, and Joburg).

This is a beautifully facilitated, sober-friendly social experiment designed to completely bypass awkward modern small talk and get straight to the "good stuff." It is a dedicated space to practice absolute presence, set clear boundaries, and experience authentic relating.

How the Afternoon Works

• ???? The Digital Detox: Upon arrival, check your phone into our secure detox station. No screens, no digital escapes—just raw, real-time presence.
• ?? The Visual Matching Board: Choose a unique conversational card from our arrival board. The back will reveal your initial table network of 6 people.
• ?? Premium Platters (Included): Head straight to the food station to serve yourself from a delicious spread of savoury pastry, meat, and gourmet vegetarian platters prepared by The Acreage’s top chefs. Waiters will be on standby for you to order soft drinks, mixers, or specialty coffees on your own tab.
• ?? Table Games & The Riddle Hunt: One hour of light-hearted group play. Teams compete in a tactical Scavenger Hunt across the beautiful venue lawns, tackle a rapid Quiz, and solve riddles to win access to our Mystery Prize Board.
• ?? The 1-on-1 Connection Lab: Your phones are temporarily returned specifically so you can easily swap details as you rotate through a series of intentional, timed 1-on-1 conversations. You'll have our custom Conscious Connection Menu (with fast-fire questions and prompts) right on your clipboard to guide the depth.
• ?? The Afterparty & Dinner (16h00 Onwards): The official facilitated Lab wraps up at 16h00, which leads straight into the social magic! The main restaurant kitchen stays open until 17h00, meaning you can immediately place your dinner orders and grab extra drinks at 16h00. The bar remains open late into the evening, so the entire tribe can stay on-site as the sun goes down to keep the conversational momentum flowing.

The Matched Exchange Protocol

We don't put you on the spot. We use a completely secure, double-blind matching system handled online after the event.

During the afternoon, you will use your physical Event Tracker Card to make personal notes. After the event, you’ll jump online and discreetly let us know who you’d like to stay in touch with. If the interest is mutual (whether platonic or romantic), we’ll securely share your contact details within 48-72 hours.
