Maria Mombelli is a Johannesburg-based artist crafting music that is as haunting as it is beautiful. With a background in classical piano, she brings a refined sensitivity to her songwriting, blending intricate melodies with a darker emotional edge. Singing while accompanying herself on piano, she creates an intimate and immersive performance style. Writing all of her own material, her music unfolds as deeply personal, atmospheric, and evocative—an intimate fusion of classical influence and contemporary expression.

Senna-Marie is a Johannesburg-based songwriter interested in the necessary frictions that accompany intimacy. Her work is rooted in the emotional resonance of her lyricism, weaving honesty and humour in ways that feel simultaneously open and opaque. Her songs are in conversation with broader conditions of uncertainty: ecological instability, political power imbalances and social isolation; experimenting with how these pressures are sensed in the body and carried into everyday experience through habit, relation and conflict.
