ABOUT
HOTWATER -Blending dance-inducing African rhythms and melodies with uplifting folk, rock and pop, dynanic artist HotWater weaves a tapestry that is accessible and sought after across the world. He tends to fly quite a bit on this tapestry too, with headline performances at both the largest World Music Festival in India and the biggest African Music Festival in Europe in the last year alone.
HotWater's song “Wamkelekile", which means “Welcome” was written with the intent of welcoming an international audience to the Spirit of (South) Africa. In a perfect reflection of this purpose, the township-jive based track was selected for use in the Warner Bros blockbuster film BLENDED (starring Adam Sandler). In March 2017 Wamkelekile reached over 1 million streams on Spotify.

Astrafunk & The Space Cats, is a fresh new act hailing from Cape Town. Vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Pople, extraordinary Trumpet player Tumi Pheko, phenomenal bone player Christrian Chandler, and the banging rhythms of Kurt Bowers merge the soulful genres of Funk, Hip Hop, and Blues deep inside hard grooving futuristic loops. They have been called Cape Towns Hip/Hop version of Fat Freddy's Drop and at only a few months old are taking the scene by storm.

Music starts @ 3pm - gates open @ 1.30pm - No outside food and drink allowed, full bar & concert food available. The are lots of shady spots and the dance floor is undercover but remember your sun shade/screens.

- Go over Ou Kaapse Weg
- Head towards Scarborough/Cape Point
- 3 km past Scarborough at the Junction veer right (towards Cape Point)
- The venue will be on your left
- Look for signs!
