South African based band with Namibian Routes Crimson House
bring their Gypsy Jungle show to Swakopmund in December for a four day marathon at the Desert Tavern along with local music legend Andra.
Crimson House have been touring since 2010 as a group and have established themselves as one of SA's greatest live acts. With 3 albums and a number of radio charting songs behind them they continue to push the bouncdaries both musically and visually in their high energy performance style. With music routed in the blues adapted to Gypsy and Ska rythms the band is both a theatrical cabaret rock experience and dance fueled celebration of life, love and community.
Andra is no stranger to the world of performance art and a highly respected singer songwriter with multiple albums behind her and a reputation of the highest artistic regard. Andra's voice has every bit of the desert buried within her melodies, its beauty and its mystery holds secrets of the Namib.
Starting off the event each night will be another voice of Namibia, Daena Weeks, with a voice of a siren song she captivates a soul bound audience and holds you in a gentle caress of passion within her songs.
After Crimson House peforms their hour and a half epic the party will go into the late night with Dj MHZ, having a mix of Eletro Swing and current hits
Giving a twist to each evening the band will be selecting an opening act to give opportunity to showcase local Namibian Talent. Please apply your band by posting why you would like to perform along with a link to your musica page on the wall of the event page.
