Collegium Musicum

The East Rand Youth Choir is an internationally acclaimed, multicultural choir and music programme for talented young musicians between the ages of 14 and 19. Our choristers represent schools from across the East Rand and greater Johannesburg area, united by a shared passion for music and artistic excellence.

At ERYC, we strive to develop not only exceptional musicians, but also confident, disciplined and well-rounded young adults. Through world-class musical experiences, performance opportunities and international tours, our singers are inspired to grow both personally and artistically while building lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

The East Rand Youth Choir is proud to present our annual Collegium Musicum Choral Festival, featuring performances by Maranatha Christian School's Elementary Choir, Primary School Choir, High School Choir, and also joined by Hoërskool Jeugland Choir and the East Rand Youth Choir.
