Overview:

Impact
 Hub MashUp is a global event that gives members, and other curious people, the opportunity to connect with one another. MashUp takes place simultaneously at multiple Impact Hubs around the world, and is focuses on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This edition of the Mash Up focuses on Global Partnerships to support SDG goals.

Expect a fast-paced, fun and entertaining evening as speakers share their passion and you have the chance to give on-the-spot feedback and ask questions.. And most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to meet like-minded people and make meaningful connections over a networking drink.

Agenda:
The event will be a mix of inspiring speakers and interaction:

  • 6:30 pm: Welcome & Introduction
  • 6:45 pm: Entrepreneur Spotlight: Zahkeni, Syafunda
  • 7:15 pm: Audience Ideation Activity
  • 8:00 pm: International Speaker: Chrysula, UN Foundation
  • 8:45 pm: Closing and Networking/Mingling


Speakers:
Over the course of the evening we will hear from the following speakers.





Zakheni Ngubo, Senior Managing Partner, Syafunda: Mandela Washington Fellow, Branson Centre Alumni & mentor & A member of Sir Richard Branson’s Disrupting for Good leadership gathering on Necker Island. Alumnus of Red Bull Amaphiko & Mzansi's top 100 disruptor.




Chrysula Winegar, Senior Director, Communications & Special Initiatives at the United Nations Foundation: Chrysula also leads the Global Moms Challenge. Prior she founded Wake Up World Communications, a digital communications agency focused on social action campaigns. Chrysula has developed community engagement and digital strategy initiatives for the United Nations Foundation, Fox Searchlight, EngenderHealth, Family Planning 2020 and others. Projects include #GivingTuesday, Global Moms Challenge, Where’s the FP?!, Global Moms Relay, He Named Me Malala, and [email protected] she worked in a variety of communications roles with organizations like Ernst & Young (London); Estee Lauder Companies (New York) and the Australian Export & Finance Corporation (Sydney). She is a communicator, agitator and mother of four; has a M.Sc (Organizational Behavior) from the University of London, Birkbeck and a B.Econ from the University of Queensland.
