Secret Sunrise JHB: Mandela Day / make it count !
This Mandela Day we are dancing for unity and good old South African ubuntu and gees!
We are taking Secret Sunrise to Mall of the South for this one - so if you live in the area please come and support and we expand our reach! We need your help to get the word out to newbies and bring them along to experience the SS magic.
Dress up in bright colours and big smiles and if you still have that vuvuzela bring it along! Let's celebrate Madiba the way we know best - together, loud and full of heart.
We’ll be dancing as the sun rises, headphones on, coffee nearby, and absolutely no pressure to dance “well.” Just show up, move how you move, and enjoy the ride. Be bold and brave and bring your friends.
What to Expect:
- A guided silent dance experience with headsets
- Feel-good beats, light breathwork, and plenty of smiles
- A relaxed, playful atmosphere (some different cultural appreciation expected!)
- Rooftop views, coffee, food, and Sunday-morning vibes
What to Wear:
Comfortable, casual, and weather-friendly. Bonus points for caps, sunnies, or your finest “Madiba” look.
