Queens Lounge Presents Rus Nerwich Quartet

The Rus Nerwich Quartet brings together four leading Cape Town jazz musicians for a dynamic live set. Featuring Rus Nerwich (saxophone), Andrew Ford (piano), Kevin Gibson (drums) and Stephen de Sousa (bass), the band draws on a wide range of influences from hard bop to free jazz.

Nerwich has performed with top South African artists including Carlo Mombelli, Marcus Wyatt, Lulu Gontstana and Herbie Tsoaeli. Expect original material from albums like Mantras4ModernMan and The Wandering Who, alongside well-known standards such as Stella by Starlight and Peace.
