ABOUT
*At the Altar* is a moment of vulnerability. There comes a point in our walk with Christ when the worship
we offer no longer feels like a pleasing aroma to God. Not because He has changed, but because
something in us has shifted. Sometimes it is our lifestyle. Sometimes it is the burdens we are carrying—
anxiety, depression, exhaustion, disappointment. And often, instead of bringing those burdens to God,
we try to offload them through other means.
Yet Jesus gives us a clear invitation: “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you
rest.
*” (Matthew 11:28–30)*
This worship night is a response to that invitation. It is a call back to a place of surrender—to do what
God has already commanded us to do: come to Him. The time to run to substitutes is over. It is time to
run back to God. This night is centered on the belief that *there is no waste at the altar.* Nothing laid
before God is wasted—not our prayers, not our pain, not our worship, and not our obedience. Everything
matters to Him.
