ABOUT
Join the team at Wickedfood Earth Farm for an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how we farm and work with the seasons, followed by a generous winter lunch shared around the table.
The day begins with a guided farm tour, where we explain how food is grown, raised and preserved using agroecological principles, and how seasonality shapes every part of our work. This is hands-on, lived farming — not theory.
After the tour, we gather for a Winter Slow Food Farm Lunch that celebrates the summer harvest. Dishes arrive in rhythm: vegetables first, then breads, cured meats and preserves to linger over, before hearty pork dishes take centre stage. Expect warming winter food such as roast pumpkin, ham and pea soup, a classic pork and bean cassoulet, and bottled fruits served with thick clotted cream.
Wickedfood Earth Farm is a recognised Slow Food Farm, the first accredited in Southern Africa. Four times a year, we open the farm to share what good, clean and fair food looks like — from soil to table.
