Join us for this month's Kirstenhof Community Business Network Breakfast at CHS Life Centre on Thursday 28 May 2026 - 7am - 9am.

KCBN has connected local businesses with the community, doing business from the heart space since July 2023.

A networking opportunity for you to Get Into Your Neighbours' Business! - in a good way!

This month's guest speaker, Lucinda Evans, is notorious in the community as a vocal GBV activist, feminist and human rights defender. She is a passionate advocate for people affected by poverty, gang violence and social injustice. This drove her to creating a safe space in Lavender Hills, Philisa Abafazi Bethu - Center for Women which provides emergency safe houses, trauma counselling, court support, feeding schemes, youth programmes, child protection services and community development initiatives. It serves survivors of domestic violence, rape and abuse, including women, children, elderly persons, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Lucinda is talking into Love In Action - a quality rarely seen in community activists, but central to everything she does.

The Table will provide a light breakfast and coffee and tea. Speciality coffees will be available for your own account. Please stipulate any dietary restrictions.

Spaces are limited, so please book asap. R150 per person. There are Non- Breakfast Tickets should you choose to be present for the talk only without breakfast.
