Experience the full spectrum of young talent at Youth in Harmony, a vibrant showcase featuring every ensemble of the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra Company. From strings to wind, brass to percussion, this is your chance to hear the next generation of musicians perform together on one stage.
The afternoon builds to a stunning finale: Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor”, performed with the young up and coming Swiss soloist Christian-Peter Hiemstra. Known for his expressive phrasing and commanding presence, Christian joins the orchestra for one of Beethoven’s most triumphant and lyrical works.
