ABOUT
SPECIAL EDITION: TALK + TASTE
WED, 27 MAY, MUIZENBERG
At this special edition we're doing something different. We'll be interviewing one speaker, in our usual relaxed, interactive format. But this time, you're invited to experience what we're learning, first hand - putting theory into practice. And we're hosting the evening at the very special Axminster House in Muizenberg. An incredibly beautiful place that is an experience in itself.
FOOD FOR A GOOD MOOD: BASED ON AYURVEDIC PRINCIPLES
(And no, that doesn't mean Indian food... One myth that needs busting.)
Meet Annewikke Bouma: Annewikke brings 17 years of lived experience to the table, bridging the gap between ancient Vedic wisdom and the chaos of modern life. As an Ayurvedic nutritionist, chef and trainer, she focuses on making healing practical, sustainable, and actually delicious. Whether she’s coaching individuals or training others in the kitchen, her approach is all about resetting from the inside out. Our empowering conversation will be paired with food and tea she has prepared for us.
Included:
- a home-brewed tea
- a bowl of hearty, vegan soup
- a little sweet treat
All food is gluten-free.
Date: Wed, 27 May
Venue: Axminster House, 8 Axminster Rd, Muizenberg
