2026 Cape Winemakers Guild Auction - Saturday Session

All wines going under the hammer will be offered across two sessions - today, and during the Friday Auction. This Virtual Live Auction takes place at Brickfield Canvas in Cape Town and is conducted by Strauss & Co, South Africa's leading art and wine auction house.

Taste the wines beforehand

Join one of the 2026 Cape Town or Johannesburg Masterclass Tastings - formal tutored tastings of all auction wines, presented and poured by the winemakers themselves. Tickets are available to purchase separately.

On Friday, 2 October from 10:00 to 12:00, there will also be an informal interactive tasting of all auction wines, poured for you by the winemakers - replacing the previous Pre-Auction Tasting format and tickets to the Friday Auction includes access to this tasting.

At the Saturday Auction

Your entry ticket includes snacks and wines from Cape Winemakers Guild members throughout the session. There will also be an informal self-pour tasting of the 2026 auction wines available during the Auction - please note that samples are limited and cannot be guaranteed for the full duration.

How to bid

To bid, you will need a Bidder's Account with Strauss & Co. If you don't have one yet, create your account here.

Once your account is set up, register to bid on the 2026 Cape Winemakers Guild Auction on the Strauss & Co website before Thursday, 1 October 2026. One registration covers both the Friday and Saturday sessions.
