Kick off the action packed Sardine Festival Weekend by lacing up and hitting the scenic trails at Emerald Vale Brewery!
Join us for the Sardine Festival Trail Run where rolling hills, lush farmland and beautiful single track set the stage for an unforgettable outdoor adventure in the heart of one of the Cape Wild Coast’s most vibrant weeks.
Whether you're running, walking or cheering from the sidelines, this event offers something for everyone - from relaxed family fun to a rewarding trail challenge

Distances & Entry Options
5km – A fun, social route for runners, walkers and families
10km – An intermediate route with a mix of jeep and single track for walkers and runners
16km – A more challenging route with rewarding climbs for seasoned trail runners
Sustainably hand crafted medals for all finishers – because we know you love them!
Entry Fees:
5km – R100 | 10km – R200 | 16km – R250
Kids under 10 years: free entry on the 5km but must be accompanied by an adult

Expect trails that wind through working farmland and natural bush with flowing single track, "gentle" climbs and sweeping ocean views across the countryside. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a relaxed morning immersed in nature, each route offers a rewarding and memorable trail experience.
