2026 Cape Winemakers Guild Auction Tasting - Pretoria

The members of the Cape Winemakers Guild invite you to the 2026 Cape Winemakers Guild Auction Tasting at the Pretoria Country Club.

Join us for a special opportunity to taste a selection of the 2026 Cape Winemakers Guild Auction wines, presented and poured for you by the winemakers themselves. The evening begins with a formal seated tutored tasting of a curated selection of the auction wines, followed by an informal tasting of additional CWG Auction wines alongside snacks.

Please arrive at 14:30 for registration and an on-arrival bubbly. The tasting will start at 15:00 sharp and end at 17:30.

Please note - a change to our Auction Weekend format

The Final Pre-Auction Tasting traditionally held before the Friday Auction session has been replaced with an informal walk-around tasting of all the auction wines, poured and presented by the winemakers, on Friday 2 October from 10:00 to 12:00 at Brickfield Canvas in Cape Town.

The 2026 Cape Winemakers Guild Auction takes place at Brickfield Canvas in Cape Town, conducted by Strauss & Co, South Africa's leading art and wine auction house. All auction wines are offered across two sessions - the Friday session on 2 October 2026 and the Saturday session on 3 October 2026.

To bid, you will need a Bidder's Account with Strauss & Co. If you don't have one yet, create your account here.

Once your account is set up, register to bid on the 2026 Cape Winemakers Guild Auction on the Strauss & Co website before Thursday, 1 October 2026. One registration covers both sessions.
