RAUFFFF (Raw African Unfiltered Fly Fishing Film Festival) - Durban

The Mission Fly Fishing Magazine's inaugural Raw African Unfiltered Fly Fishing Film Festival (RAUFFFF) kicks off in August this year.

The Durban screening will happen at the Rhumbelow Theatre at Northlands Bowling Club in Durban North on Tuesday the 18th of August.

As with The Mission's stories, the lineup primarily features films from or by African filmmakers focused on African destinations, species and characters, but as is our wont we will have a few global curve balls (cough... Rolf Nylinder) too.

What else? There will be prizes from our sponsors, from fly fishing clobber to destination prizes, so you can do your best seal impression and leap for a cap or an all-expenses paid trip somewhere.

There will be a casting demo for early arrivals wanting to test our Rio lines and Xplorer rods.

On the food and beverage front, there will be boerie rolls and drinks for sale at the bowls club before the show and at the interval.
