Winter Craft Holiday Club

Welcome to the Winter Crafts Holiday Club — where children get to explore, make, and create in a safe, supportive, and inspiring space!

Join us under the trees to come and explore a variety of crafts.

A creative and hands-on fun way to spend the school holidays.

Each day offers a different modern homesteading craft or activity, from Batik dyeing, Felting, Bamboo cup whittling to Cattail basket weaving and leather belt making. Kids will get stuck into hands-on crafts, learn new skills, and take home something they’ve made with their own hands.

The schedule:

1. 6 July 2026 - Make a beautiful traditional Raga cup out of bamboo, hand whittled with knives and sand paper, cured in smoke over the fire (Ages 8 and up)
2. 7 July 2026 - Bakit print a beautiful table runner with wax and indigo dye
3. 8 July 2026 - Weave a wonderful Cattail basket with a plant that grows prolifically throughout South Africa
4. 9 July 2026 - Wet felt a special book cover and learn to bind a book
5. 10 July 2026 - Learn to make yourself a Vegtan leather belt and personalize it with a wide variety of leather stamps

How to Book:

1. Select the days you’d like your child to attend (you can book one day or multiple days!)
2. Choose the number of tickets (if booking for siblings)
3. Fill in your child’s details at checkout

R580.00 per child

We will bake a daily bread and there is soup availabe for R40.00 a bowl, please purchase a seperate ticket for meals 24hrs before the class.
