Join us at Cpae Town's iconic venue TRENCHTOWN (143 Lower Main Road Observatory) on Friday the 15th of May as we celebrate the life, message and music of global reggae legend Bob Marley.

Marley's music undeniably changed the sound of the world. His life philosophy and advocacy for peace, love and social justice still resonates today. Songs like One Love and Redemption Song have become anthems of activism and hope, which speak to the change that we need as a society now more than ever.

Featured in this tribute show, which marks the 44th anniversary of Marley’s passing, are some of South Africa's most notable reggae bands, the Marley Project and Sons of Selassie. The Marley Project are known for their authentic Jamaican roots, stage presence and memorable covers of iconic reggae songs. Sons of Selassie were formed in 1985 during and the height of South Africa's Anti-Apartheid struggle, leading to a powerful and unique discography with themes of African consciousness and liberation.
