Vika’s Last Assignment

Please join us for a special screening of the award-winning investigative documentary Vika’s Last Assignment by Slidstvo.Info, followed by a discussion on freedom of journalists and press freedom through the story of Ukrainian journalist Viktoria Roshchyna.

Viktoria Roshchyna’s courage and tragic fate have become a powerful symbol of the risks journalists face under occupation and during armed conflict.

The programme includes the screening of the film, followed by a discussion with Yanina Korniienko, journalist from Slidstvo.Info and author of the documentary, moderated by Micah Reddy of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.

This event is organised by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of South Africa in cooperation with the Ukrainian Association of South Africa, with the support of the Embassy of Sweden in the Republic of South Africa.
