ABOUT
Welcome to “Andy’s Club – Take 8”!
Following on from the success of our previous events we’re delighted to present the next in our 2026 series of “Andy’s Club” sessions.
Andy’s Club is a vibrant community project launched in January 2025 by a group of passionate enthusiasts in the Blouberg/Table View area of Cape Town’s West Coast. Our aim is to create a dynamic platform for local musicians to share their craft with a supportive audience.
As a non-profit initiative we’re committed to evolving and improving with each step, learning from others and exploring what resonates with performers, audience, and venue. We celebrate original music and welcome impressive covers of beloved songs. We appreciate both seasoned artists who are already confident in their craft and less experienced performers who are seeking a safe place to develop their skills and material. We take the quality of our music seriously, but we are also human and we make mistakes, learn from them, smile and move on.
We strive to create an immersive yet relaxed music experience, inviting performers, supporters, and others who simply enjoy listening, to come together and revel in the beauty of live music. Our aim is to leave them feeling that they have truly heard the compositions without being overwhelmed by volume or excessive complexity.
Please note: Your ticket is for the music only. Dinner will be from an a la carte menu. There will be a full bar service. Strictly no BYO.

The performers
For 30 May we are privileged to present a programme showcasing a variety of different musical styles and a range of youth, experience, fresh originals, and familiar covers.
Rae Swart
A widely experienced musician as both teacher and performer, Rae Swart is familiar to our club’s audiences from accompanying various students past and present and from his wider stage collaborations.
On 30 May we have the pleasure of welcoming Rae to the stage as a solo artist, where he is equally at home performing his own originals as he is breathing new life into others’ compositions.
Khofhi TheKing
Meet Khofhi TheKing, a singer-songwriter from the Mother City, Cape Town, South Africa.
He is best known for his unique vocals that create an incredible soul-infused vibration, and his ability to serenade audiences with his guitar. His undeniable style of incorporating different genres into his music sets him apart from the rest of the musos. He has spent around 10 years harnessing his love for sounds and melodies.
From busking on the streets of Cape Town to playing big festivals, private events, and online shows, he has done it all. Most of his music is written in both his home language, isiXhosa, and English. The songs he writes are enjoyed by all ages and can range from acoustic storytelling to electronic beats. He also produces his own music as a self-taught music producer.
Noa Opert
Hello there! My name is Noa, I am 17 years old and I am extremely passionate about music and the way it bends my perception of time – strumming my guitar to weird tunes with some odd vocals in there. The music I relish listening to, feeling and moving with, depends on my mood. It can range from Laufey, Chappell Roan, Mac Demarco, all the way to Mother Mother, the Pixies, and Rio soundtracks.
I was drawn into the world of music by my beautiful mother who encouraged me to not throw my guitar at the wall when I couldn’t get the chords right because apparently that is not something you should do, but rather push through the difficulties and the sore fingers!
Thank you for reading!
