FIERCE & FURRY THROWDOWN : SPRINGS SPCA Charity Fitness Challenge

Join us for a high-energy fitness event that blends community spirit with compassion for animals. In collaboration with Born Fierce Functional Fitness, this challenge invites participants of all fitness levels to sweat for a cause while raising vital funds for animal welfare.

Event Highlights

• Animal-Themed Workouts: Fun, creative exercises inspired by our furry friends—think 400m zoomies in between 9 stations

• Team Spirit: Teams of 2 or Relay teams of 3 (Adults & Teens)

• Community Engagement: Celebrate and compete with staff, volunteers, and supporters who make a difference every day.

• Fun stuff : Music, food, entertainment & Vendor stalls available on the day

• Charity Impact: Every rep, step, and stretch helps provide shelter, food, and medical care for animals in need.

• WIN: Ski-erg up for grabs to the box or individual who enters the most teams and donates more than 200kg of cat or dog food - valued at R15 000

• Registration starts at 07:00 - event starts at 08:00
• Heats will be announced closer to the time
• Venue : Hoerskool Hugenote in Springs
• Teams :
• Adults Duo - Teams of 2 - MM | FF | MF (R600 per team)
• Teens Duo - Teams of 2 - MM | FF | MF (R600 per team)
• Adults Relay - Teams of 3 - MM | FF (R700 per team)
• Teens Relay - Teams of 3 - Mixed (R700 per team)
• Workouts :
• Will be released in advance
• Duo teams :
• Need to complete all runs together and share workouts on I go, You go basis
• Relay Teams :
• Workouts will be shared amongst 3 team members, who will each select 3 workouts each and perform those 3 workouts and 3 zoomies on their own

WIN AND OWN A SKI-ERG !!

T's & C's :

• You can enter as a gym or individual person
• You need to enter at least 5 teams and donate at least 200kg of animal food - the person or gym who enters the most teams and donates the most food will win the ski erg.
• You need to disclose your teams entered by no later than the 23rd of June 2026
• The food donations will be calculated at the event
• The winner will be announced on the 27th of June 2026 and the ski-erg needs to be removed on the same day.
