Gauteng Climbing Boulder Cup - 2026

Save the date for the Gauteng Climbing Boulder Cup at Friends and Allies on 16 May 2026!

This exciting comp is open to all and will have some interesting twists and turns! There is something for EVERYONE!

Want more exciting news? You don't need to be a GC Member to enter! Yes you heard right, ANYONE can enter!

We welcome all students, all parents, all coaches. Literally EVERYONE!

We have added the following categories:

*Rock Rookies (under 18, recreational climber and not featured on a podium at any Gauteng Climbing Event.)

*Junior Crushers (Under 18, a semi-professional climber and have featured within the top 3 at a Gauteng Climbing Event.)

*Boulder Buddies (Over 18, a recreational climber and have not featured within the top 10 of any GC event),

*Gravity Defiers (Over 18, a professional climber, and I have either featured withing the top 10 of a GC event or I am used to climbing higher grades both indoor and outdoor - 6C and up.)

*Open Legends (I am proud to be part of the 40's and up club)

Time Slots:

Gauteng Climbing Cup - Session 1 (8:45 am - 10:30am)

Gauteng Climbing Cup - Session 2 (10:45am to 12:30pm)

Gauteng Climbing Cup - Session 3 (12:45pm - 14:30 pm)

Please note! There will be final for each of the above categories to compete in so don't run away after your sesh! If you don't make finals, make sure you stick around to bring the psych and support.
