Sugar Rush Park is a family-focused one-stop destination that caters for all ages. Their goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle for the whole family by encouraging fun outdoor activities.

It’s so easy to get there when you take the modern Holiday Express departing from the Premier Business Lounge, Durban Station to Umhlali Station where our coaches will be waiting to collect you.

In addition to the amazing mountain biking and running trails which operate from Sugar Rush Park, there is a huge, safe open grassed recreational area, plus a toddler zone and a kids pump track. Other exciting attractions include a Laser Tag, Putt Putt, the Rugby Fields and Trampoline Park. Entrance to the Park is free which includes the open park, play areas, pump track and forest trail for kids. All other activities operate separately – there are costs per attraction.

Visitors to Sugar Rush Park can relax in the Bold Restaurant which offers a breakfast and lunch menu, as well as a range of coffees, teas and juices. Sugar Rush Management request that only food purchased from the restaurant may be consumed on-site.

A range of refreshments, including wine, beer, soft drinks, biltong, peanuts and chips etc. will be available on the train. Remember to purchase your cash vouchers at registration.  You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments with you.

For the comfort of all passengers no smoking is allowed on the trains.

At this time of the year it should be warm.  Suggest you dress accordingly, but bring something warm should the conditions change.

Delicious snacks, pastries, light meals and refreshments, including a wide range of locally brewed craft beers will also available from the many stalls in the market.
