ABOUT

The KZN Youth Orchestra will be performing on Sunday, 26 April, 11h00 to 12h00 in The Bull Ring on Netherwood Farm in Nottingham Road.


The concert is carefully curated with a diverse repertoire that spans classical, romantic and modern music as well as some contemporary pieces. The line-up includes such Mozart’s symphony number 25, ‘What a wonderful world’, ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Don’t Stop me now'.


Conducted by Lykele Temmingh, former resident conductor of the KZNPO.

Presented and narrated by Cathy Peacock, trumpeter and founding member of Platform Jazz.


The KZNYO comprises young musicians, aged between 12 and 22, from all around KZN who are passionate about preserving and celebrating the enduring magic of orchestral music. They rehearse and perform throughout the school year and play a wide range of classical, contemporary and African music.


Adults: R150 per person

Pensioners & kids: R100 per person


Light meals and drinks will be on sale before the concert.
