Gabriel Espi makes a long-awaited return to Joburg at the Afrikan Freedom Station on Saturday the 2nd of May!
Gabriel Espi’s Intimations EP (2021) and Many Moons LP (2023) showcase his signature songwriting sound infused with elements of Brazilian music and jazz. His approach to music is experimental and daring while always remaining rooted in the emotional journey of the song.
For this show Gabriel will be playing with a special trio featuring two exciting Joburg-based musicians: Angus Hardcastle on bass and Nicholas Bjorkman on drums.
