Join us for an unforgettable evening of music and style at Stars Over Broadway, a collaborative music production between St John’s D.S.G. and Maritzburg College.

This exciting showcase brings together the finest young talent, featuring outstanding vocal soloists from both schools, accompanied by the exceptional Maritzburg College Jazz Big Band and instrumentalists from St John’s D.S.G. and Girls High School.

Step into the golden era of jazz as we celebrate legendary artists such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, and Norah Jones. The programme includes iconic favourites like Feeling Good, Summertime, New York New York, The Nearness of You, My Way, and many more timeless classics.

Stars Over Broadway promises an evening of elegance, energy, and world-class entertainment. Come and support local talent as they bring these beloved jazz standards to life in a show filled with heart and flair.

As a concertgoer, you can choose to watch just the concert on Thursday or Friday night for R80 per ticket, or you can join the golden era experience on Saturday night for R350 per ticket. Throw on those togs and step out in elegant black-tie evening attire for a truly glamorous night, complete with a 3-course cocktail menu!
