Italian Republic Day Festival 2026

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Join us on Sunday, 7 June 2026 between 9am and 5pm for our annual Italian Republic Day Festival!

Come celebrate “La dolce vita” and enjoy an unforgettable day packed full of a true taste of Italy for the whole family. Indulge in authentic Italian food, drink and Italian products for sale as well as hundreds of Italian cars and motorbikes on display!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Over 20 Italian food stalls, including Italian Restaurants from Joburg and Pretoria.

• Over 40 vendors including fashion, leather goods, shoes, toys and gifts.

• Italian wine, Italian beer, Prosecco and other Italian drinks.

• Aperol Spritz garden (Italy’s most famous cocktail).

• Hundreds of Italian cars, bikes and supercars on display.

• Including the Ferrari Club (SEFAC), Lamborghini Johannesburg, Alfa Romeo Club, Abarth and FIAT Clubs, Ducati Club, Vespa Club and Italian Motorcycling Clubs.

• Live Italian music and a whole lot of fun.

• NEW: Our new exclusive Illy Lounge Experience is our brand new experience available to guests who value a dedicated space to relax and enjoy the festival in the comfort of a shaded outdoor lounge. This experience includes: general admission including access to a shaded exclusive seating area overlooking the festival grounds; complimentary Illy coffee (Italy’s most famous coffee brand) and Italian mineral water; 1 x complimentary Aperol Spritz (or other drink from the bar); tickets are purchased as a minimum pair of two which includes 1 complimentary parking at the Illy Experience parking area; dedicated waiter to order drinks from the Festival Bar.

THINGS TO KNOW:

• Public parking available at: 75 Totius St, Groenkloof, Pretoria – R30 per vehicle.

• We have disabled parking available at the Italian Club’s main entrance (78 George Storrar Drive).

• NO other public parking inside the Club’s main entrance.

• NO pets are allowed at this event.

• NO drinks, food, sports balls, weapons, or drugs are allowed into the festival.

• NO unauthorised drones allowed.

• NO tickets will be sold at the gate.

• Your entrance ticket can be scanned from your phone or you can print it at home.

• Gates open at 9AM (no earlier) and the event ends at 5PM.

• Entry gates will close at 3PM – please make sure you arrive before then.

• Kids play area includes (Toddler playground for 6 months – 2 years, and Clamber Club for 3 – 12 years).
