PHAKA SITYE is a monthly outdoor clay-fire cooking and dining experience by Masipheke, bringing people together around the warmth of an open fire and the soulful art of cooking with clay.

Taking place on the first Sunday of every month, each gathering introduces a new theme, a fresh culinary expression and a different atmosphere. No two experiences are quite the same. From smoked feasts and traditional African flavours to seasonal ingredients, heritage-inspired menus and creative fire-cooking interpretations, every edition tells its own story.

Expect the sight of glowing fires, the aroma of wood smoke, handmade clay cooking vessels, thoughtfully prepared food, music, cocktails and the pleasure of sharing a table with good people.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of The Palms Lifestyle Centre, with Devil's Peak rising in the distance, PHAKA SITYE brings a distinctive outdoor dining experience to the city.
